Using Custom Contact form on yahoo store

November 18th, 2006 | Tags:

One way to make it easier for your customers to contact you is to put your email id, phone number, toll free, fax etc on your info.html page.

Other way is to make a custom contact page which can have your mail info, phone or email and also a contact form requesting information from your customers. Customers can provide their email, name, phone, order number, product code etc and request information on products or their order status. This cuts down on many customer service related calls and saves you time and resources. Here is how you can create a basic contact form on your store

Step 1: Create a simple page using the section button on your store editor. You can also use the Contents Module to create a new page using item. as type.

Step 2: Copy the html code below and add it to the caption area of the new contact page. Replace the yhst-xxx with your own store id.

I want to add an opt in form on my Yahoo! Store home page. We should all be doing this. It is an important strategy for our overall marketing strategy.

My e-commerce website Pc Games Controllers has a low conversion rate at the moment. I’m trying to be more competitive, and I think all in all and opt in form will help increase sales.
